Love looking thru banknote collections on YouTube. Here are my favs.... (extensive worldwide) (focused on Africa) Do share any links to your fav?
I can't make videos. Well that may not be quite true. I think my Nikon D90 can do it. But then what? I don't have YouTube.
YouTube is free to get a channel. Just record with smartphone and upload with free Youtube app. Then your collection is for us to drool over and you can also keep track of your collection without having to pull out the entire album.
lol I think i could lay out my whole banknote collection for a single pic then again a pile of $1 silver certs another pile of $2s both old and new and couple scottish pounds. none anywhere close to mint state. Only thing I got worth looking at is 6 $1 goldbacks (2 utah, 2 nevada and 2 New Hampshire) Those are actualy pretty sharp but pictures do them no justice
I've got a smartphone (at least that's what I think it is), but there's a stupid user (me). Then I'd have to figure out the Youtube app. I'll stick with my Nikon D90 and individual pictures. Plus I have a couple hundred banknotes. Can't show them all (not that it would be all that interesting).
I like going thru other ppls collection and see what will be next on my wishlist. Also you can get a sense of banknote size and overall look (since old catalogs have black and white photos and hard to gauge the size of banknote and its colors and overal appeal)...We have such a large community of collectors here and some true veterans...so would be nice to have more collection on display for us newbees to browse
