So I did my research on this coin grading company and they seem to be (Harbor Feight) at best! For lack of a better analogy. So this 1952 S dime is graded MS70 by SGS which I figure to be off a bit. Now I'm still learning to identify errors and such I have never held an MS coin so I wouldn't know what to look for. I'm posting some pics, the best I could take through the holder to see what you more experienced eyes think! One more thing, the last pic is the mint mark which appears to be a RPM but could be the plastic causing this. Thanks in advance! BTW I hate Harbor Freight only because I spend too much money every time I walk in there. A lot of people will tell you that SGS never saw a coin that wasn't a 70. That is a bit of an exaggeration, there are some 69's a even a few 68's out there as well.

Just curious so I looked. PCGS has never graded 52-s above MS68. NGC has graded one in MS69.

I kind of like Harbor Freight too. Lots of junk with some decent stuff, but is a good option for those of us who've no need to spend up for tools used once or twice.

Too many inferior Chinese made tools at HF.
If that dime is MS (and IDK) it's in a 63 area and is prob only
a very slight premium over melt.

Yes and this has harmed many US companies and factories.

That's interesting. I have 2 graded by NGC @ 65 and 66 that look the same as this one to my untrained eye. I will have to examine these a little closer and make a decision on what to do with it!

One 52S graded MS 66 NGC, one 52D NGC MS66 and two 52 NGC MS65 ! In the lot I purchased!

I believe he is saying you are lucky if the SGS slabbed coin is even and Unc. (Although from the images of it I would say it probably is.)

I think the mm is MD with flattening on both sides. Jim
