AR denarius, Rome mint, struck 235 CE; 2.75g. BMCRE 11, RIC 1, RSC 46. Obv: IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG; laureate and draped bust right. Rx: P M TR P – P P; Maximinus standing almost front, head left, between two standards, raising right hand and holding long scepter.
