I was perusing the BEP website looking at production numbers and noticed that in May they began printing series 2025 $100 star notes. I've been wondering when the latest 2021 series for all denominations would give way to the next one. I would assume they print up a few runs of star notes before beginning regular production. Wonder when the new $100's will start showing up later this year and will it later extend to the smaller denominations?
I just put 2 and 2 together and figured out these must be the new notes with the President's signature on them instead of the Treasurer's. That change was announced back in March so I guess these are the first ones off the press with the new combination.
yep, I haven't seen an actual bill for circulation yet, but pictures of a specimen have been going around, and that's indeed what's on them.
