I was going through my where’s George bills and found this pretty interesting that secretary of the Treasury Steve Munchin “printed” his name and did not use a standard signature ? And the printed version looks like some grade school did it, not very professional.
I would go easy on other peoples handwriting. The thumb on my writing hand can barely hold a writing utensil anymore. After about 50-60 years of hand abuse and arthritis, it can get really hard to write some days. Thank the Engineers for the keyboard and printer. I can't hold a pen anymore but I still my play my guitar!
I used to think my signature was important until those little 1x2 inch squares started showing up at the checkout. How am I supposed to sign my name on a 1x2 inch LCD pad? The clerk told me people use their finger and sometimes just put an X in the box. So I scratched a line across it and it beeped okie dokie. Maybe our signatures are becoming obsolete. Or I have a very important finger scratch. Now where do I put my fingerprint and eyeball for scannig?
