I have a series 2013 one dollar bill from Cleveland district. D Is this a good serial number to keep? D 02255000 F
Your serial number is interesting but that’s about it. The link, I’m guessing, is to show you what to look for.
I thought that notes with only three different digits were called trinary. Isn't this a trinary? 02255000
It is indeed a trinary. Trinary, in numismatics, is a term used by forum members and eBay sellers to describe/hype a note with otherwise no other real value above face value. Once again, your note has an interesting serial number but no real collector value. If you like it, keep it.
Trinary is a made up thing. It really has no value. With 8 numbers there's going to be tons of combinations. Sorry there's no link to show you your note is worth face value. I was just showing you the serial numbers that are considered good.
That's a spender as is the trinity note. Three sixes in a row are nothing to a collector of fancy notes.
Trinary is obviously not made up. If you have 8 digits and only 3 numbers are used, it's trinary. To a collector, it's nothing, it's meaningless.
