I just received (5) $5.00 dollar bills with sequential numbers (DC00116884 - DC 00116888) STAR NOTES in excellent shape. Any idea what they might be worth?
    (I will send photos later).

    Thanks in advance for responses.

Is your "excellent shape" also known as "crisp uncirculated"? If they were red label great - green, spend!!

Sorry it took so long to get pictures. According to my research (and I am no expert), there where only 640,000 star notes printed in this series (2003). My note serial numbers range from DC00116884-DC00116888 (see pictures), and yes they appear to be crisp uncirculated bills but green and not red.
Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Best bet is to look at eBay completed sales. Very nice note!

I'd keep them. Put each in a currency sleeve for protection and tuck them away somewhere for reconsideration. I still feel face value is where they should be at, at this time. Not saying you couldn't find someone willing to pay more, but they are not exceedingly rare either.
