Fantastic reverse @Ancient Aussie and a pretty darn good portrait as well. Excellent score!

Great coin, Ancient Aussie. Very appealing.

Combines a pleasant bust of a historically significant emperor, an interesting architectural reverse (which I know you appreciate very much), and a pleasant patina.

I do not have any architectural types for Septimius Severus. They tend to be quite scarce. However, this sestertius with Victoria reverse appeals to me due to its attractive portrait.

IMO this sestertius has a lot going for it besides the excellent portrait. Septimius sestertii often lack the full legends and even strike seen here. This is a nice coin.

Thank you, Doug. It came from a careful long-time collector who knew how to choose his bronzes.

Thanks Eduard, that coin of yours has one of the best portraits of Septimius that I have seen.
