This coin would be of little/no interest to most as it is numismatically and historically insignificant but it is significant to me in that it is the first coin of Septimius Severus I ever bought and only the second Roman coin that I had bought.

The first two coins I bought were entirely egotistical in that they both represent Mars, the first was a MARS VLTOR denarius of Severus Alexander. Mars being the root of my Christian name - Martin. My collecting was entirely random for a while and it is strange looking back at it now to see how my collecting developed and evolved.

Obv:- L SEPT SEV AVG IMP XI PART MAX, Laureate head right
Rev:- MARTI VICTORI, Mars standing right, holding spear and leaning on shield set on helmet
    Minted in Rome, A.D. 198-200
    References:- RIC 134, RSC 321a

For September 3rd, here is the characteristic Minerva reverse we already saw a couple of times in this thread. It almost looks like art deco from the 2nd century AD:

Septimius Severus, Roman Empire, AR denarius, 195 AD, Rome mint. Obv: L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP V; head of Septimius Severus, laureate, r. Rev: P M TR P III COS II P P; Minerva, helmeted, draped to feet, standing l., holding spear downward in r. hand and round shield at side in l. hand. 18mm, 3.15g. Ref: RIC IV.1 Septimius Severus 61.

Septembermius 4th - what I think is my only one from the Emesa/Eastern mint:

Septimius Severus - Emesa Den. Victory RIC 245 lot Apr 2021 (0).jpg
    Septimius Severus Denarius
    (194-195 A.D.)
    Emesa/Uncertain Eastern Mint

IMP CAE L SEP [SEV PERT] AVG COS II, laureate head right / VICT[O]R AVG, Victory walking left, holding wreath and palm.
    RIC 425; RSC 697.
    (2.67 grams / 15 mm)
    eBay April 2021 Lot @ $1.24
Condition Notes: Part of an eBay lot, in which (16) of the silver antoninianii and
denarii were holed. Most had (4) holes at about 3 and 9 o'clock, probably for a bracelet mount. Some had only (1) hole, as if for suspension. All holes were plugged, on these, probably by the links being cut off flush.
