I believe this type to be in the scarce to rare range but if you were to look at my collection you might change your mind. Septimius Severus denarius Obv:– IMP CAE L SEP - SEV PERT AVG, Laureate head right Rev:– ROMAE AE-TERNAE, Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory in right hand, spear in left. Minted in Alexandria. A.D. 194 Reference:– RIC IV 350G; BMCRE 323; RSC 615 I started with this poor example..... and upgraded some years later to this one I have now upgraded to this one which has a different reverse legend break A-ETERNAE. I has a full legend reverse, which is often not the case. I know that Doug has an example and I could find a single example in acsearch. Share your upgrades.
