every once in awhile I'll spring clean and get rid of some of my stuff that I no longer am interested in. I usually say to myself, why did I buy this?

If I average 20 a box, and I've done around 200 boxes of cents... that's 4k right there. Plus what I've bought to search from old hoards, which is probably another 10k-12k, plus what I had before I started roll-searching... probably somewhere around 16-18k wheats. Not quite 20k, but up there.

I was thinking of selling stuff but then when I think about the 28% capital gains tax - I just say screw it and hang on. I guess I could sell it privately and worry less about CG but oh well

Nice looking coin, tough to find Peace dollars with color like that.

Better to have a few great coins than a lot of junk coins. Junk will always be junk.

Until I buy your bag of junk and find a 42/41 Merc dime, or a DDR '46 WLH...

Searching junk silver is so much fun.
