The whole point to a minimum bid is that it is the <i>minimum you will accept</i>. If they still want to start with a low minimum to attract customers, they can do that to <i>with a reserve price</i>. They cannot, however, set a low minimum and no reserve and cancel the auction because they didn&#039;t get as much as they wanted.</p><p><br /></p><p>Having said that, the seller can always just claim the item was lost (or whatever) and it&#039;s hard to prove that it isn&#039;t the case.
