When I first started collecting, someone recommended the book as an introduction (perhaps someone here?). I purchased a used copy for around $15 and was thoroughly enjoying it (he is a very engaging writer)... maybe three chapters in.. An elderly uncle came to visit me from Vancouver for a few days and showed great enthusiasm for the LRBs I owned at the time. As he was leaving I wrote him a note inside the book's cover and gave him the copy along with a few coins. Took me a few months to find another reasonably priced copy... which I promptly left in a hotel room while on a business trip in Pittsburgh. 3rd time lucky? Sort of a challenge now - I just have to finish this thing and keep a copy in my little library. Bit of a pity the author won't get paid three times...[/QUOTE]
