Oh ethics! Now that is a totally different matter. He hasn't done anything fraudulent, but his ethics are so low that if you stood on them and reached up with a ten foot pole you couldn;t touch the belly of a snake that had been run over by that crawler NASA used to carry the Saturn V out to the launch pad.

I never said he was ethical.

Hee, hee, hee. The one that crushed the riverbed pebbles used to pave the roadway flatter than a heavily circulated silver 3-cent piece? That one?

Great! So we'll start scamming people to teach people that scamming is wrong... because that's logical (not).

As much as I hate this sort of marketing gimmick, I agree.

Maybe Legend... I think that is where they keep all of their "dreck." ;)

Please......quit acting like a patron saint and take what I wrote with a grain of salt. It's called sarcasm.

I have no way of knowing whether you were serious or not, nor do I know anything about your sense of ethics. There are plenty of people that would attempt something like you suggest. Because I don't know you, I did what any logical reader would - I judged your comments at face value, and I stick by them.

Yes, the item description in that eBay listing noted in the OP is appropriate. It's a jar o' coins, so what's the problem?

Here's a picture of me holding an item that I'm currently selling in the Children's Toys category at Ebay:

What's the problem? It's a bag o' glass, just like the item description says. This one looks like a good one: Full of nice, sharp pieces of jagged glass. Just what every kids wants to play with...

I agree with posters here, there will always be another scam ready to go when you point out the current one.I agree the shopping channel coin shows and the way they promote the product have got to be some of the largest organized scams out there.

I have only been reading and learning the coin trade for a short time but even if a person knew nothing about a product, this is so obvious that you cannot even see what you are buying that. There's no way it should be bought and for that kind of money .Wow I thank my mom for giving me enough common sense to know edited
