    I hate to burst the bubble here, but this is a Rentenpfennig, not a Reichspfennig. Denoted at the bottom of the coin. The Rentenpfennig is relatively common compared to the much rarer Reichspfennig. Sorry, but no cherrypick.

    I once sent a text to my pastor and referenced our church secretary Margaret Barfield. I looked at the text later and the auto correct had changed it to Margaret Bar Girl...... And that was to my Pastor.... Uurrghh.... (first names changed to protect the innocent)

    I can't believe I didn't notice that, having found both denominations in bulk lots, and being at least noddingly familiar with both types. :eggface:

    But we've already established how spotty my powers of observation are. No wonder Paddy was seeing two different sets of apparently similar listings in the printed catalog, while I, searching NGC's database with the "reichspfennig" keyword, was only seeing one.

    Wish I had a 1924-E reichspfennig for every time I've made a Krause attribution error like this over a case of similar but mistaken identities.

    Well, there ya go. :)

    Of cuss I recognized the sailor boy straight away! And then someone said that folks in Maryland don't know how to make BBQ. Hey, I hail from there and I know full well that there is all kinds of good food to be had! Not just oysters and crabs and crab cakes and fried chicken, but polish sausage and scrapple and some of the best ham in the world.

    Paddy54. Your in a tuff spot. You and these folks are friendy. By admitting this you need to return (god forbid) and all parties win equal shares. Personally give it back to our LORD. I wouldn't mind if he kept it. He has earned the right of having a great coin. God knows he loves us members more then he loves himself. Wish it was me returning this coin. Plus he's Scottish.

    And aunt Bertha....good old Aunt Bertha...she weighted over 500 lbs....I hear she'll be paroled soon....the DA recieved some new edivence that proves she really didn't see cousin Desmona when she sat on her ,and watched the uncut version of Gone with the Wind!
    And I know you remember Desmona little skinny girl ....she ran the bait shop and space station down on the city dock.....until her untimely passing....there's nothing like family... :stop:
