I respectfully suggest that we all post our Secret Saturn gifts in this thread rather than starting new threads for every gift. With the 50+ (and counting) year-end threads, plus the usual assortment of writeups and ID requests, adding another 50+ "Here's my SS coin" is just going to reduce readership of all posts.

I love Caracalla mainly because as an art buff, many statues of great beauty and significance were found in the Baths of Caracalla - such as Farnese Hercues, Farnese Bull, and all sorts of other goodies.

I sort of feel bad sending my gift; it's definitely lackluster compared to the one I received and the ones that others have been posting

Mine's open as well, and I am very excited over it! Really generous of my SS to have gotten me this awesome coin!

A Galba denarius! And I had a hunch that due to the style it was from a branch mint and not Rome, and a quick search seems to confirm it (Narbo in Gaul). The coin also has a narrowed window of minting, sometime from April to autumn 68 AD. Even came with previous auction tags. All very cool!
