I am left town and have no ways of getting the addresses with me, I will be back Tomorrow, but until then, I am out. And tyler, that would be fine just get it out in the mail Monday, not much of a problem. I'll PM you the address while you are out though.

Cazkaboom, Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but are you saying to mail out Monday? I'm not prepared to mail out Monday...I intend to mail out well in advance of Christmas, but not on Monday!

Caz, can I make a suggestion? After all this is a christmas giveaway, and it's still early in the month... What if you had everyone mail their gift out by the 15th? It'll be perfect timing for christmas, and it will give folks time to do some shopping, if needed. Just my 2 cents.

 

Yes, great idea, but in the previous years, I have mailed something on the 15th and 17th and it never got there until the 26th, the mail industry gets really packed that time of the year. I want it to be early so the people can get it on time.

My motto is: Early is on time, on time is late, late is unacceptable.

 

Yeah, cause maybe we don't have a coin yet that they might like or want until we know who we are getting for and what they like and got to go out lookin for it.

 

Cazkaboom, I'm with Zach on this..it is a Christmas swap. Give a little leeway, everyone is different! Most likely all will go well without micro-managing. Just my opinion. Whomever I will be mailing to will have mine by Christmas.

This is the final date decided, and will not be changed. Once again, the 15th of December will be the name drawing.

 

Sounds good to me. I thought you wanted gifts out and delivered by then! Whew! I'm already looking for something special.

 

ehh, I guess it is more about others than my opinion. After all, it is the season of giving So I gave in.

 

Why is this in the contests section? I would participate, but I won't be in the country at the time/date.

 

I'm ready to send whenever cazkaboom! thanks again for organizing! The 15th definatley seems like its cutting it close, especially this time of year, but hopefully most members will be willing to spend a extra couple dollars on first class shipping with DCN#. Either way its all good, happy holidays!

 

I know this date has been changed and there are lots of opinions, so mine probably won't mean much, but I would like to see the names drawn in the next day or two, but then have until the 15th to send it out. That way I can research the person I am sending to, look at their posts and see what coins they like and then send it out. With a new baby and a wife on the mend from a serious illness, I don't get to be on here every day so if I am too busy (sorry but this site's priority is low to me) to look on the 15th then it might be a couple of days before I get back. If there is no change I will probably have to just pick something at random and have it ready to go before I know who to send it to. Just my opinion.

Caz, any news on the date of the drawing? I think I speak for most when I say, right around now would be ideal. And then mailing on the 15th.

 

Zach, I was wondering the same thing today. I re-read the intro, and it looked like Dec 8th was the notify date? I think? I guess we'll see.

I must have misunderstood this whole thing! I'm gonna have to send the elves home until the 15th. 10 days before Christmas is late to be getting a name, but I'm sure it will work out. It's Christmas!

Okay, I am going to pull the names, now it is east coast tomorrow here on the west side, and I will send some stuff to 5 names including the one I drew. Results should be soon.

 

Boy! That took a while! I got all the names out though, took quite a long time, but I got it down, can't wait to see the results, but for now, school then sleep.

 

My package just went out in the mail. Thanks Caz for organizing this.
