Yes, it can. I got in last month, and it's gone up about 30+ percent. Crazy!

I wouldn't even have a clue where to buy it. Never really been interested to be honest.
I wasn't that interested until I started really looking into it. It's up almost 2,000% THIS YEAR. I can't see it NOT being a bubble, but if you can ride it just a little bit, then pull out your initial money, you don't have much to lose. My sister's brother in law has 3,000 bitcoin, which is roughly 48 million dollars! He was one of the first people to mine it.
Yes, you can buy and sell through a broker like Coinbase.
Is that what he does, or how you end up?
It can, by selling it.
Probably one of the stupidest responses I have see here. The question was clearly asking how bits on a computer somewhere can be sold. Someone else was kind enough and civil enough to give a clear answer.
Me thinks this thread has lost the Christmas spirit.
still no address ....were starting a riot
btw, I trade these currency's, if you would like to know more mail me, lets keep this forum to coins, and this thread to my special present thats almost on the way now
Jeopardy theme song anyone?
Hopefully whatever is holding Kirk up is not as bad as last year.
amen to that, car fire was it?
Yes, and his computer died too I believe.
I wasn't worried when he said they would go out by Wednesday at the latest, but I hope I can get my recipient today.
I'm going to a coin show tomorrow, and that's the last opportunity I'm going to have to pick up the gift. I'm sure others are in the same boat. It's not just about having time to ship and get it there before Christmas.
I'm sorry you had to attack over this answer. I gave it honestly, not with an intent to be snarky or anything of the sort.
Does it really make a difference? If it works the way I understand it all you will get is a name and address. You will not get the username here so you will not know anything about the person, unless you recognize them from some other source.
We've always got the username here and the address.
We've always gotten the username as well. That way you can check out their posts to see what they like to collect and pick them up a more meaningful gift.
Hhm! Had I known that I would not have signed up. I thought it was supposed to be a secret.
