My present for my giftee is on the way and will be quick-turned for him on arrival.

 

Hitched up the reindeer to the sled today and made the trip to the post
office. My present is on it's way to the mid west.

Mailed my giftee's today. Should make it at the end of the week.
A little difficult as I couldn't find much helpful info on the person so a shot in the dark and hope for the best.

So is anyone less patient than me or will I be the first one to open it? (When I get it)

 

if history is our guide, about half will open it early and about half will wait. Interestingly, about 30% will not post what they get, which is sad. I always enjoy seeing what others receive almost as much as what I receive myself

 

That won’t happen this year, because I know that everybody read Rule #1. Well actually I know that quite a few won’t post images. I always try to emphasize how important this is for the longevity of the Secret Santa exchange, but the importance is even more clear this year. Although we have many returning participants, we have fewer than last year. And last year had fewer than the previous year. I really appreciate how many people participate, and I would really like to see it go for many years to come.
My theory is that if we kept it going forever, eventually everyone would have every coin ever made. I did the math, this is right.

 

This is my new motto.

 

Sending my gift out today

 

The first item has now been shipped to me, but I lost the auction for the second thing, darn it. Time to start looking again.

 

Put my gift in the mail today, so it is on its way! And as a bonus I only waited about 2 minutes in line to mail it.

 

Mine has gone also. I did not have to wait for anything to arrive. I just chose something out of my own collection which I thought the recipient would enjoy having.

There wasn't a line at my local PO.

 

I received a package. Return address: Santa Clause. I have my Wife commandeer until Xmas.

 

Don't trust yourself old friend? Temptation? LOL........I wouldn't trust my devices either. The later, the better for me.

 

Definitely not!! Lol Believe this, I was a LOST SOUL before she came along.

 

I have very little faith I will be able to wait until Christmas to open mine.

 

Patience.........Christmas will be here before you know it.......

 

Ya, but the package will be here even sooner!

 

I know........tell ya what I do Brother. When the package arrives, I place it under the tree (Christmas), and I gingerly forget about it until Christmas Eve.......then I tear into it.
