I am now back in town after Thanksgiving.... I hope my gifts I bought are in the mail tomorrow, then I can send them off to the new owner!

i didn't mean to, i really thought it was another package! then santa sent a note that explained what the gift was...so i knew when i read it..so i thought i may as well look at it.

right?








thank you secret santa! santa expressed concern about me not liking them since they are outside my area, but that is absolutely not the case. they are wonderful, and i was hoping to get something outside of my area actually...i dig that!

these two medals were minted privately by a fellow named daniel carr to commemorate the anniversary of my santas coin club. i wasn't familiar with carr, but i guess he's a big to do...there are even chinese fakes of his medals.

the left one is silver, the right one is bronze. my santa said they even struck a few in gold!

i recently commented in thread here at CT, that i did't collect medals..but thought they were cool. i don't know if you read that thread, but i very much like them!

Mine came in today, thank you Santa. I'm going to try and restrain myself, but I doubt that I will make it to the weekend.

Secret Santa gift is finally on its way!

 

FINALLY got the last part to my gift in the mail today, so it will be heading to it's new owner tomorrow

 

Had a heck of a time figuring out what to get my SS. Decided to just go an oddball route, hopefully the person likes it.

 

Surely some of you people have opened your packages?? I want to see what everyone got!
