My first and second were redheads, both were Hot. The first one kept me worried. If she cooked dinner and didn't eat, I didn't either. The second, was WoW, to say the least, but way, way too much drama for this laidback country boy. I was always scared to say much because I was afraid of what she might do to my tooth brush.
Some people appreciate a quiet life devoid of adventure, Bill. The Irish like us, however... it's either in the genes or the potatoes.
So true!! My girlfriend is of Irish English and Russian descent. Me. I'm Irish and a bit of Scottish and English
Irish and Russian? Wow. Sleep with one eye open, my friend. My wife is Scots-Irish and German. So am I. Stubborn and a temper. And then there's the kids... [emoji12] Lots of yelling happens in our little shanty.
That's it, I can't take it anymore. My package is just sitting there mocking me and I'm dying to tear it open. We are having an early Christmas dinner today, so I think I should be able to open a gift today am I right? And our friend @Eng very generously sent my son a gift to open as well and he's here this weekend. I believe that's enough excuses to open up the gifts.
You know, I had a coin just like this briefly. I saved the seller pics. Maybe you can use them for reference... right? Happy Holidays to you and yours, Carlito!
So, I was eating dinner last night thinking about what Santa will bring me and then dessert came... Strange are the ways of fortune cookies
So my son and I opened our gifts last night. We would like to thank our Santa's. My Santa sent me a beautiful 1939 PCGS MS-66 RD. I love it and it is a beautiful addition to my graded wheat set. How you knew what I was collecting is beyond me, but it was a coin that I had yet to get. The second was a gift that @Eng sent to my son along with a nice card for Christmas since he knew that he was a budding ancient collector. I can't explain this coin much, but the insert lists it as: Gordain III, AD 238-244 Obv: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG; Rome mint: 241-243 Rev: PM TRP V COS II PP; Emperor in military dress, standing right, holding transverse spear and globe. Reference: RIC IV (c), 93 (p. 25) Sorry about the sad images Santas, I still don't have a real camera and used my iphone for the images. We love our gifts and wish you all happy holidays.
