I am trying to find out what folks are finding today in regards to searching peeny rolls they get from the bank. I am specifically targeting banks here. I just bought 4 rolls this week and found 25 percent (50) were 1981 or earlier coppers. Given the price of copper, one could say I got 5 rolls for the price of one or a 25 percent increase in value. I am saving those buggers because I know with the dollars decline, housing market decline and general economy problems, the feds are gonna start melting coins and selling the copper to pay off our national debt. Now maybe that is a long shot, but if they do, the pre-1981 coins are going to go up in value as the disappear from the market. I do not know what else I got in those rolls other than a couple 12950ish coins and a fair number of 60's (maybe half a dozen). I be more specific on the next few rolls and will post here. I would be interested in what other people are finding. Post your roll searches here please. Thanks. UncleKin
