I searched an OBW roll of 1958-D Lincoln Cents. I found 6 coins with, I assume a die scratch, on the mintmark.

Die crack not "scratch"... I do believe this is one

I'm not going with a crack. Possibly some tooling mark when hand punching the mint mark. @paddyman98 What say you my friend?

    "incuse" or "recessed" will do.

It doesn't look like a crack to me, either. It could be a die gouge.

I think a crack would extend somewhat into Lincoln's jacket. If convex, a die scratch, if concave a strike thru. BTW, what's an antonym for incuse?

    Nice find. I had a mint roll of 1958 D that I found 4 identical RMD's in.

RMD's is an error on my part. It should be RPM - Re-punched Mint Mark. Apologies for the confusion.

It is raised just like the D mintmark.
