Excuse me but I thought that the "S" Mint lable could only be applied when submitting a box of 500 which bore the San Francisco facilities seal? As for selling "Sealed Mint Boxes", depending upon the coin it could be 1 of 2 reasons. 1. Shipping Date for First Strike™ Labels 2. Unsearched Varieties I have purchased exactl 1 Mint Sealed box of Silver Eagles. This was back in 2008 when the 2008 rev of 2007 coins were still available. I bought the box and submitted it to PCGS and lost my but on it. I will always seriously consider purchasing original sealed shipping boxes of 1965, 1966, and 1967 SMS Sets in addition to 1968, 1970, 1971, 1975, 1983, and 1988 Proof Sets. I'll also purchase sealed mint boxes of 1992 Silver Proof Sets. These are ALL big gambles which pay off on occasion but most of the time they are BIG money losers which I simply deduct at the end of the year as a loss. I'd much rather pay $199 for a box of 1968 Proof Sets than $199 for a single PR69DCAM Kennedy Half. Not only that, but there's always the possibility of finding a 1968-S Inverted Mint Mark Kennedy as well as a No S Jefferson Nickel. When this happens, you'll definitely hear me shout! Whether your computer is on or not.
