Excellent choice for a very special image treatment! I may have to try that someday. 'All metals' includes electrum ...and whatever was lying around when the workmanship didn't matter. These are better than many of their ilk. Theodore of Nicaea 1204-1222 AD Bulgarian imitation of Alexius III

Awesome animation, this will be the go-to page to explain scyphates to newbies! And they will then be well-prepared for the storage difficulties... Some of my faves (most with obverse and reverse mislabeled): John II Comnenus (1118-1143) Isaac Comnenus. Usurper in Cyprus, 1185-1191 (rare) Theodore I Comnenus-Lascaris (Nicaea, 1208-1222) Andronicus II Badass Paleologus (1282-1328)
