I thought some of you might like to know that this twice annual auction is scheduled for July 29, and online bidding is already underway.

Below are some selected items that were sent to me via e-mail, and after browsing the catalog, there are some really interesting items that some of you might want to consider. One of our current discussions here is about an 1889-CC, so some of you might want to check out Scotsman's listing. For what it's worth, one of the description writers for Scotsman is an esteemed member of the NGC forums, and he doesn't pull any punches.

Thanks Chris. I checked out the items I'd be interested in; multiple specimens in a single lot. The first lot doesn't even list all of the specimen varieties and says so. Another lot incompletely lists catalog numbers -- all of the prefixes are left out. And not all have photos of all the specimens in the lots.

I encountered this the last time I perused Scotsman.
