To my eyes it looks great - can't see any red flags, is the weight ok? Although as my above quote says: "I am not sure I would recognize fake Chersonesos coins without carefully consulting a scarce pamphlet-book Modern Forgeries of Greek and Roman Coins by Dimitrov, Prokopov, and Kolev."

I'm sorry, but I've been seeing this thread for more than a day now, and I'm still seeing the title as "Fake Cheerios hemidrachms". It's starting to worry me.

This and other useful forgery-related titles are available as free pdf downloads on Dr. Prokopov's academia.edu page.

It’s safe to say, that bar being at the site upon discovery, it will be almost impossible to know 100% you’ve got an authentic coin.

I’d like to see every country pass a three strike system for antiquity forgers (only those casting/manufacturing):

First: Ten days jail time / fine of 1.5x illicit sales

    Second: One-year prisonsentence

    Third: Ten-year prison sentence

NGC, Harlan J Berk and other experts are checked them and they found it authentique. So,i believe that they are originals and are probably from an old hoard which is bought from an American guy and sold in USA.This is not serious to judge by some pictures and never seen them in hand i think. Also, i dont think that in "cointalk" has better experts then Harlan Berk and especially David Vagi from NGC.
BTW:If i am Vagi or Harlan Berk and somebody in some forum discuss my decision and they havent any proof and try to ruin my reputation, i will take a legal action against him and he will pay very expensive price for writing something without proof and especially if he is a newbie and not expert...
So, be careful what say. Just a friendly reminder.
    Have a great day
