Scarce doesn't equal expensive

    I can not agree more with what has been said about the value/scarcity/pleasure of each coin or specific type of coin to collect. An area which I focus a lot of my energy and derive a lot of enjoyment is Edward I pennies. It's a highly specialized area of collecting and while many classes of these coins are not rare, there are some that are quite rare, however, because there is such a small group of avid collectors, they aren't worth a whole lot more.

    But this is what I find so enjoyable about it. I can really find some very unique and interesting examples of early Edwardian pennies and not have to fight the world to buy them.

    Just my thoughts but wanted to jump in and say it's a great thread!
