Scarce but heavily worn Sestertius....

Great score Mikey - I grade the coin a very desirable F, and the surfaces are clean with no damage. Really, there can be no legitimate complaint against the condition of the coin. I certainly would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Those who find Steve's Alexandrian bronzes might want to buy copies of CNG's sales XII and XIII from 1990 when they sold the Kerry Wetterstrom collection. In addition to seeing some types you may not see every day you may be impressed at just how many of these coins are available only in horrid condition. Don't turn your nose up at Steve's coins; I have seen many worse. People who only collect FDC bronzes will have few Alexandrians and very deep pockets. I have fewer and very shallow.
