    Hi everyone.

Tonight I saw this ad on FaceBook (go figure) and while watching the video in the ad, I saw that the coin was wrong. The date was wrong, the finish was wrong, the reeding was wrong, but hey for $9.99 per and a money back guarantee, how can you go wrong??

This is exactly why I never trust ads on FaceBook

So far I have seen 27 possible scams going on with silver eagle offerings on Facebook. It all started at around the same time the U.S. Mint announced shutting off supplies due to Covid. I do not have the time to investigate nor would I want to open my computer to a possible virus but for everyone's sake, just stay away from FB offerings altogether. Be safe, not sorry.

I just saw one as well the other day. I wanted to capture the site so I could put it on my facebook, instagram and website to let my followers know that they were fake. I am guessing it was the same people. I couldn't find it to do so. This is the exact reason that I purchased a sigma metalytics identifier. I know what to look for in most cases however with all of these horrible people selling fakes, there are bound to be a lot of people who purchase these and think they're real. I need an extra layer of protection to help me and other people know what they have or are buying is real. I try to report at least 10 sellers a week on ebay who are selling fake coins. It's dificult but if we all keep doing it and spreading the info like @mikenoodle is here, we can help out.

They're all over facebook and under many different names. And they almost always show a white-gloved hand holding a coin.
