    Have you ever been to a B&M (Brick & Mortar) coin shop? They can be a fantastic resource for picking up mid grade 90% silver coins. Here are some examples all these coins were purchased at or near spot price right out of a "Junk Bin" in a B&M.

    Yes I have. You just never know what you might find. The 1934 looks really nice.

    Used to all the time but only one in the area I'm in now and too far to travel to make it worth the effort. I went to my LCS twice, treated rudely both times. Internet search turns up the same negatives I received. I just use other sources that treat me good, are fair and offer a good bargain.

    Those are awesome finds! I have only been to a coin shop once believe it or not, ever sense I have always gone to coin shows.

    Your LCS are great resources for finding those mid-grade 90% you may be looking for. Sometimes you can get a great deal. My LCS owner always gives me a $1 discount from what spot is. So I am good. :joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

    Some people's egos won't allow them to dig through a junk pile. Doesn't bother me in the least, in fact the junk pile is the first place I look for when I walk in the door then work myself up to what others consider the good stuff.

    A B&M, or at least the "right" one/onces*, could be very helpful for one such as yourself. While much of this business is based on knowledge, who you know can be near equally important, and there are more than a few out there who make a reasonable income simply from buying at B&Ms to resell online.

    * "ones" (edited for correction).

    That is a really good point! I do want to go to more of them, but the closest one to me is farther away than the majority of the local coin shows.

    The price depends on when they were purchased, silver spot price is constantly changing.

    I resemble that remark... :)
