My ignorance is near-complete, so these things take me hours of squinting to figure out.</p><p><br /></p><p>This one had me worried because it is too heavy for a typical rupee of the period. However, I found several online examples of KM 99 that were similarly "fat" - part of an increase in weight (but decrease in silver content) that the British were working on in those days. Heavy ones are scarce, at least according to online Indian auctions I found. The 1819 issue, KM 109, was heavier, but had an extra rosette and mint master initial S.
