<p>[QUOTE="hugo_danner, post: 137971, member: 5812"]I bought this coin on EBay for about $12.00. It was so strange looking I had to buy it. From what I can gather, it's a Sassanid coin from the 6th century. My coin:</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://i9.ebayimg.com/05/i/07/50/18/b1_1_b.JPG" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://i12.ebayimg.com/04/i/07/60/9b/d1_1_b.JPG" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>Like I said, as near as I can tell, this is what it is. My next question, how can I find out what it's worth!??</p><p><br /></p><p>KINGS OF SASSANIA - HORMIZD IV, AR silver drachm. Struck at Yazt, regnal year 11 (590 AD, the last year of his reign).
