Yes, their photos are very bad. Here is one (of several) where they didn't even get the whole slab in the frame. I will gently complain about this after I receive my coins back. Seems like the only point to getting images is to prove that yes, there's a coin in an ANACS slab with that cert#. I guess for $3 you get what you pay for. I don't have any other complaints about them (yet), although I think a few of their grades were too conservative by 1-2 points.
People who know me probably will say that I’m hard to impress. However, I must say today that I’m impressed by ANACS. Really impressed!’ Thirteen days ago, I sent ANACS eight Daniel Carr fantasy overstrikes for grading/slabbing. This afternoon, I got notice from ANACS that they were en route back to me. You could have blown me over! I garnered two 67s, two 69s and four 70s . Can’t wait to get them. I’ll post pics when they arrive.
I just wish they still used the soapbox holders. I don't care much for the newer ones. Turnaround time seems phenomenal.
@Santinidollar congrats on a successful submission. I see what you mean about the questionable grading on the Winged Liberty dime and the 1986D ASE. Nice looking DC tokens.
I haven't used them in years but I do have group going to them (ANACS) today. PS: I wish they would go back to the small white holders...or bigger white holder.
