Posted this a bit ago on the PCGS boards, figured I'd add it here too.

I know this is a twist showing only part of the obverse, but figured it would be fun to try it this way. The coin is straight graded, no problems no major hits except for a tick that is off the picture. See if you can guess the date and grade, which will be revealed later today!

Wow, great color! Walker halves are surprisingly tough to find with any toning, much less nice toning. :)

Based on what I can see, I'm guessing AU58 for the grade. Date? Hmm, shot in the dark, but how about 1939?

I'll give it a 66 based on what we can see. Pretty coin.

I'd like to see the skirt on the obv to verify the wear I see in the eagles legs but the picture doesn't show the skirt.

I'll go 66 as the rub is almost negligible , date , since your only showing the reverse '16 or '17 . Love the patina though .

Have a cable outage still going, so couldn't post an answer picture last night. We'll see what happens today, what I can say is that no one has the date and/or grade right as of yet here, but the correct answers are among the posts on the PCGS board. ;)

Not sure on the date now, I thought for sure it would be a MM on obverse by hiding the bottom half of the half. I'll change my guess to MS-64+ and 1938.
