Sales tax tokens? Do you have any?

    I collect these things with a burning passion. On the dealing side, I am primarily in coins, bullion, and currency, but tokens like these are up my collecting alley. Sales tax tokens are some of my favorites since they are easily located and a bunch of different ones exist.

    I bet ya they'd be official US Mint pieces if the most common denomination was 1/10 of a cent. I'm telling you, the 5 mill pieces are the modern half cents that the states didn't know people would collect.

    I may not know you, but if you collect sales tax tokens, we've probably got something in common.

    My father was not a coin collector but he saved these sales tax tokens in the 1930's and put them in small containers which I still have.
