Paypal said ebay was responsible and nobody did anything. </p><p><br /></p><p> So, I got to buy another pair that I actually received. My wife still has those sunglasses today. That would probably be your best course of action if you choose to keep accepting checks. </p><p><br /></p><p> In most cases, especially for smaller amounts, I feel the 3% paypal fee you incur is well worth the money. For a 1.20 you could have eliminated all this headache and had the money instantly or not at all. If you only accepted paypal of course. </p><p> In this day and age, if you want to deal online, paypal is just about a given and I think most honest people will opt to go that route and get it over with. I hate having to send anything snail mail. It takes too much time. Most probably feel the same way. I would say the pool of people that remain who only want to pay by check is a pretty well tainted one these days. Not all of course but the scammers are condensed into a much smaller pool of people (who would want to spend the time to send a check) with most others choosing to use paypal. Just a thought.
