<p>
Ryro, You had an exceptional year scoring some great coins <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />! My favorite is #3, with the Sea goddess on the obverse & a wonderful depiction of Neptune on the reverse <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie1" alt=":)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />. I'm a sucker for serrate denarii too <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie7" alt=":p" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />. 2nd place has to go to #1, the huge chunk of Roman bronze <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie50" alt=":happy:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />. I'm baffled why anyone found a need to test cut this coin <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie5" alt=":confused:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />. Isn't this unusual for a large cast Republican bronze <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie12" alt="o_O" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />? Great patina on this coin too. My 3rd favorite is the lovely sestertius of Marcus Aurelius you gave your father <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie6" alt=":cool:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />. Great portrait on this coin & it's blessed with an attractive uniform patina. I hope the "old man" appreciates this coin <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie85" alt=":smuggrin:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />.
</p><p><br /></p>
