I bought one weight on my list at the opening bid ($15) as an unsold. I bought another at 4 X the opening bid (and not in an auction that started at $1). I think cast bronze coins and scale weights are similar. The big ones sell better than the small ones. I have been looking for II VNCIA and IIII (or IV) VNCIA weights for a few years. I have not seen one in time to bid. I have seen one or two that I missed when they were in an auction. I suspect I will bid aggressively when / if I see one. I bought an expensive lot because I wanted the AA weight.</p><p>I have a scale weight article in the next ISASC newsletter.
