rpm question please?

Is this how you list "All I know is this is a nickel and I want $2.95 for it."?

From your opening post ("rpm's that are clearly visible i get a few bucks for. $2.95 a piece to be exact. the fact that this one is so strong, could it get more?") it gave the indication that you were sure this was an RPM which it isn't.

The concern is that items like this are being misrepresented on ebay and novice collectors are buying these with the erroneous assumption that it's something collectible and sellers are profiting from their lack of knowledge.

Had you listed this as an "RPM", you can be sure you would have received emails stating your mistake or if it had sold it and the buyer discovered that he bought a common coin for hundreds of times face value your reputation would take a beating.

It's better to get your education here for free than later by taking a hit in the wallet.
