You have the Snow 2 variety, broken top "2". Rick Snow gives this a 3 star rating and it should command a premium if you go to sell.
Yep--that's a nice variety! The date punch was broken when it impressed this die. In subsequent dies, the broken 2 has been fixed by engraving the die. The coin appears to be a solid VF w/ some waxy grime. If it were my coin, I wouldn't scrub it clean or anything like that--just an overnight soak in acetone might help.
In Snow's IHC variety book, he says "A highly sought after variety with a premium between 3X and 5X". If a normal VF30 fetches $15, I would say a S-2 is worth $50 easy. This variety is very popular, and I see nice examples getting bid up all the time on ebay.
I stand corrected and RedRaider is correct. No excuses, I blew it on this one. Nice find.. and it does carry a premium.
