RoyalCdnMint won't sell to me!

The britannia was ordered last week from mints website without any problems. Looking forward to receiving both.

I could've sworn I've seen these being sold at your local Canada Post counter at a 7-11/ Shoppers near you. Maybe they are different version of the Canada Flag coin you are trying to order....*shrugs*

 

Just received it, its beautiful and I like their service, With the US mint you have wait for months and months.

thought I'd update this, just because...
So I go back Monday, like they told me, I'm there right when they unlock the doors, and I'm told "Sorry, they're all gone".
"What do you mean?", I ask. "I was just told they arent here, and I'm supposed to say we sold out." She replies.
"But I was here Friday, just like you told me, but even then you said Monday was the official day now, and you even showed me you have some here in stock, so where did they go? You arent open on the weekend, and I'm the first customer you've had today."
"Yeah, sorry, I was just told to say we sold out." she says.
So I get home, and get my friend to put 2 on his credit card for me, this goes horribly wrong. Because the shipping/billing addresses didnt match up, the Mint wouldnt send, even though Mastercard says they approved it, the Mint used their discretion to decide I was scamming them.
So I 're-order', they say they still are holding the 2 coins, and now they'll send them, after changing the address to my friends house, not mine.
Now, just today (Wed Nov 9), after still not getting them, my friend calls back, again, and they say....
THEY ARE MINTING MORE, and I'll get mine when the new batch goes out on Nov. 18.
So does this mean they are minting more than the 5,000 that they said this would be limited to? They say no, but I have my doubts, oh well, back to the waiting game...
And BTW, I paid extra for EXPESS 2-3 day delivery!!!

 

Quelle surprise. All these because David Dingwall was in charge. Coincidence? I don't think so.

 

Can it be there're minting it in batches?

 

Did anyone manage to get one? It's selling for over $200 on Ebay!! Do you think the price will continue to rise?
