Partner, come on now. You truly haven’t ever picked up a coin from the parking lot? Any coin that has been dropped and run over repeatedly displays exactly like your dime. Seriously, friend…. You are arguing a very obviously damaged coin with people that have studied numismatics for decades here. We would like nothing more than to help you if coin collecting is of interest to you. But you really need to stop going down this road. It isn’t very flattering for you…. I am sorry, but your dime has been run over. Simple as that.
Yes, some other troll who says "send me the nickel anyhow", almost as if he were the original poster replying from another account... hmm.
I've got two in my spare change can...one looks similar to yours and the other one is so damaged that it looks like a slug instead of a dime. Damage, damage and more damage.
Or seriously off his meds. LOL He certainly didn't ingratiate anyone with his first post, which got edited.
I've lost count for the number of times that people have posted pictures of damaged coins saying that they have mint errors. The first couple of times you get a pass for inexperience. After that the time has come to hit the "ignore button."
Found this dime today, and she's a beaut! Tons of mint damage! Want you guys to tell me what's wrong with it, how much it's worth, and give me all the phone numbers of people willing to go to etsy, and get bamboozled, now. And don't any of you dare tell me that this isn't worth thousands, you're all just jealous of this AMAZING find, and are haters. Bye It's one of a kind. Guaranteed.
This nickel shows signs of money too. How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? As you can see, the damage carries over to the reverse as well. Very rare.
All totally believable until you got to the "Bye" part. I mean, you haven't even had one hater try to gaslight your one-in-a-million find yet, and you've got to stick around long enough to call at least five or ten of us idiots...
