Roosevelt dime error?

    IMG_2418.JPG IMG_2419.JPG 2006P dime, smooth and worn only below the bust, and left side rim, flat bottom and the reeded edge not affected.

    That is DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged.
    The edge was scraped. How? Only the person that did it would know how.
    STATES OF AMERICA on the reverse side has a lot of metal movement typical of blunt force.

    Not a mint error of any kind unfortunately.

    Yea. I have a theory. Maybe it was filed down to come up with a makeshift flat-headed screwdriver to get out of jail removing the air vent and escaping???
