IMG_1086.JPG IMG_1087.JPG IMG_1085.JPG IMG_1084.JPG Hello everyone! I'm a newbie as you can see and am loving this! Great groups and great discussions!! I'm asking for some input on this Morgan I inherited. I was told by a friend that there are fake Morgan's. I Would really like to know if this is real. It looks legitimate to me. But again learning even some the basics has been challenging and exciting. It doesn't have a mint mark. Any kind of real info would be wonderful!! I have google searched it and there is just so many different options varieties etc. etc. etc. it's almost like I don't know what I'm looking at. Also should this be graded and slabbed?

Hello Eric! I would say your Morgan grades in the VF range and has nice original color for a circulated Morgan. Looks real to me. Don't attempt any kind of cleaning, and it is not valuable enough to justify the cost of certification. Just enjoy it as is.
