    L. Pomponius Cn.f. 118 BC, Rome mint.

    Obverse:
    L•POM-P-ONI-CNF, winged helmeted head of Roma right, mark of value X behind.
    Reverse: L•LIC•CN•DOM, Gallic warrior Bituitus driving biga war cart right, hurling spear and holding shield and carnyx.
    References: Crawford 282/4; Pomponia 7a; Sydenham 522a.
    Size: 20mm, 3.79g
    Description: Choice Very Fine. Beautifully centered and struck example! Has some luster left in that silver. Beautifully even and deep serrates. Best full obverse lettering I've seen.
