Hi everybody. Just as the last Roman find of Emperor Tiberius that I posted nearly 2 weeks ago, this coin was also struck in Antioch. It has SC on reverse. The obverse shows a common Emperor to me, with a counter-mark of a tree apparently. I hesitated between Antoninus Pius and possibly Pupienus, many of the Roman Emperors look similar and with rather different shapes sometimes. It weighs 12.84 g. Thanks for your comments. The coin was also newly unearthed. RomP SC O.jpg RomPr R antioch.jpg

Wildwinds list this coin with the counter-mark which is a laurel branch. HADRIAN.
