And I remember a time where more or less collectors of our league could always grab a little something in big auctions which unfortunately is not the case anymore. Because clio the black hole buys everything. Maybe next time he will turn into Parthian imitative coinage so we will need to forget this region as well.

Yes, I find the Sophytes hoard coins fascinating.

It is interesting that this design, with Athena and the owl on the obverse and reverse, persisted, contemporaneous with the posthumous coinage of Alexander III.
