Found for my collection, my first old coins so excited I just had to share. Anyone know of errors or varieties I should be aware of on these coins?
"old"? That 1947 is the same age as yours truly, surely that can't be old? That '38 S is in excellent shape!
Pick up a recent copy of the Red Book: https://whitman.com/cart.php?suggest=97977d0b-0195-4a4c-94f8-5effd3213f31 The CherryPicker's Guide: https://www.ebay.com/b/Cherrypickers-Guides/bn_7024874933 The recent editions are very pricy, awaiting the release of the new edition, out some day.

@Pennybaby75. You were speaking of nickel varieties. The NGC lists quite a few on line. Just bookmark their site for future reference. https://www.ngccoin.com/variety-plus/united-states/nickels/jefferson-five-cents-1938-date/?page=1
