Rolled Thin

    I have a 1901 Indian that is in vg-fine condition it is half as thin as a regular Indianhead is there any added value because of this flaw?

    At this grade,it's possible that the coin was originally tampered with before entering circulation. :( It might be worth having someone examine it at a local coin shop or show,just to get their opinion. Next step on this would be certification,because it would make a big difference in the price that you eventually get for this coin when you do sell it. :cool: We just had a Roosevelt Dime on a thin planchet awarded as a raffle prize in EW2,which was certified by ANACS and has a current value of about $100.00. Your Cent being lower grade would bring less but certification will maximize it's resale value. ~ Jim
